Patrik W. Neustrom

Born Kearney, Nebraska, December 15, 1951; admitted to bar, 1977, Kansas. Preparatory education, Kansas University (B.A., with honors, 1974; Senior Class President, Owl Society, Outstanding Greek at KU, and Phi Alpha Theta, history honor society); legal education, Washburn University of Topeka (J.D., 1976); Washburn Law Journal, 1976. Selected to Who's Who in American Law and Super Lawyers 2005 and 2006. County Counselor, Saline County, Kansas, 1989-94. Current member and Past-president: Salina Bar Association(1994), Northwest Kansas Bar Association(1982), Kansas Bar Association Litigation Section(1993). Member Kansas Association of Justice (Board of Governors, Executive Committee, 1994-98, Editor-in-Chief, Kansas Trial Lawyers Association Journal 1996-98, Eagles), The American Association of Justice (Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group), North American Brain Injury Association; Fellow: Kansas Bar Foundation.

Neustrom was invited to be The Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law at Washburn Law School, in 2009. In recent years, Neustrom has given presentations for the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association at the Automobile Law Seminar on Traumatic Brain Injuries.   He was asked to present at the Best of Continuing Legal Education Seminars for the Ks. Association of Justice.  He also has spoken at the annual meeting of the Kansas Brain Injury Association.

Neustrom is involved with national brain injury education and trial groups.

Mr. Neustrom tries his own cases. He accepts referrals from other law firms and also associates with trial law firms throughout Kansas and the United States when additional expertise is needed to solve people's problems.  

Cathy Anslover

Cathy has been a Legal Assistant for Mr. Neustrom since 1987. She has developed expertise from working on workers compensation and personal injury cases, during her years of employment for the firm.  Cathy also works as an executive assistant and is responsible for most operations in the office. Cathy attended Pittsburg State University, and previously was an executive assistant for the Graves Truckline.

Chynnene Blackwell

Chynnene graduated from Arizona State University Summa Cum Laude in August 2005. She has a background in cosmetology and did administrative work for the University and a Phoenix  real estate firm . She started for us in 2008 and handles reception and phone duties, ordering insurance and medical records and helping clients with some form applications and interrogatories.

Barbara Price Neustrom, RN

Barb graduated from KSU in 1988 and obtained her nursing degree from Kansas Wesleyan and RN certification in 1992  . Barb has worked for the Smoky Hill Family Practice and Salina Regional Health Center, in recent years. She works part-time both at our firm and for USD 305 as a school nurse. Barb prepares written summaries of medical records for our office's use.
